“I feel healthier. I feel hotter. I feel like I’ve been equipped with the tools to go further. And I found the motivation that had been waning - but now it comes from a new, glittery, sweaty source.” - Ninja Michael
I moved to NYC a few years ago to pursue my dreams of performing and was so lucky to work consistently for a long time. When I hit a slow patch and the work started to dry up, though, suddenly the self-motivation that had always come so easily to me was gone. I would drag myself to auditions, and when I didn’t book the job, it would affect the next audition I went on. I wasn’t happy with how I looked, I hated how I felt, and I needed something to flip a switch inside me to get out of this funk.
From the moment I walked into this colorful, unicorn and dildo-filled oasis of ninja madness, I felt a weight had been lifted off of my heart. Everyone was so genuinely nice, knowledgeable, and interested in my goals that I was thrown for a loop! Growing up as a dancer, training was a solitary struggle for perfection against an unattainable ideal. During my Snatched classes, I finally learned from the members of my group that “1% better every day” is a much healthier goal than perfection. I started to love going to the gym for the first time in my life, and the results were awesome: I lost 7 pounds, 4.5% body fat, and 3 inches on my waist!
Not to mention, these people know their shit. It seemed like every question I asked, from “How can I possibly get all this protein in – I’m a vegetarian?” to “When I’m in Porn Star position, should I feel tension in my hamstrings?” to “Is it okay to lift my right pinkie thirty degrees off the kettlebell in a swing like a classy lady?” was answered quickly and thoroughly. Having the MFF staff as a resource is the most valuable part of the entire Snatched experience.
I feel healthier. I feel hotter. I feel like I’ve been equipped with the tools to go further. And I found the motivation that had been waning – but now it comes from a new, glittery, sweaty source.
Snatched will open the floodgates to a world of positivity – all you have to do is walk right through.
