I’m going to do my best to put this into words, but I feel these words won’t do enough justice to show how Snatched and these amazing people have completely transformed my life.
Before Snatched, I was lost, unmotivated, unhappy, and putting up one hell of a fake smile to the world. I was so disappointed that I had let myself gain so much weight yet I did nothing to change it. I wanted to do Snatched for a few years, but always made an excuse for why it just wouldn’t work out. After a loss and a long-term relationship recently ended, I figured, “What the hell,” and finally signed up.
In 6 weeks, I’ve lost 12 lbs, 5 inches, and for the first time ever I’m comfortable in my own skin, loving myself, and genuinely smiling.
This moment is so special to me – It was Thursday of Week 3, and Staci was teaching our class. We were working hard, swinging and sweating like crazy, and there was a tiny part of me that really believed, “Oh my God, I am not going to get through this, I just can’t,” and then almost immediately Staci would be yelling out to us, “You’ve got this, you can do this, you are strong.” So I just kept going, and she was right. We all did it, we got through it. As we’re lying on the ground after foam rolling, Staci is saying how proud she is of us, how proud we should be of each other, but most importantly she said, “You should really be proud of yourself.” I don’t know if it was just the way she said it, but in that moment, the tears were flowing and I had my own silent cry. It hit me that I’ve never told myself or truly felt proud of myself. Thank you so much Staci, my Snatchedmates, and Mark Fisher Fitness for giving me this moment.
This place is not just a fitness studio. It’s so much more. The love, support, encouragement, and constant reminders that we are perfect are really more than words can describe. Losing weight, building muscle, and looking hot as hell is just the best added bonus! I am so beyond grateful to have been able to do Snatched! I consider my fellow Snatcheders, teachers, and community – my family.
I’m focusing on me right now. I truly am proud of myself. I’m happier, I’m stronger, and each day I feel better than the day before. As Brian Patrick Murphy says, “You’ve come to the right place.” Thank you so much.
