Ah, December in the City. Wide-eyed children stumble out of performances of The Nutcracker and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular to dream of sugarplums. Three-foot pine trees are for sale on your corner for $45. And somehow even more tourists are taking pictures with Little Kitty and Iron Man in Times Square.
Almost a month ago, Broadway Bares celebrated its 25th Anniversary. The event conceived by MFF Fairy Godfather Jerry Mitchell raised a record-shattering $1,598,501 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Mark Fisher Fitness has been the Fitness Sponsor of Bares since our birth, donating more than $125,000 over four years. This phenomenal effort is thanks to YOU – the Ninja community. You came to special fundraising events, supported our team Stripathon goals, and generally showed up #fullout – as Jerry would say. Thank you.

It’s time to let you in on a little (not well kept) secret. Ready?
I walked down Broadway, the way I usually walk down the streets of NYC. With purpose. On a mission. On my way to somewhere to do something most definitely important. My gaze was straight ahead, sunglasses on. My message was clear: Don’t bother me.
